Stressed? Have a good laugh.

So far we have discovered that laughter does us good like a medicine, works the abdominal muscles and boosts the immune system.  Laughter has also been proven to relieve stress.

  • Drs Berk, Tan and Fry found that laughter reduces the stress hormones cortisol and epinephrine.
  • Laughter provides physical and emotional release, and rigorous testing has revealed that it is less fattening than chocolate.
  • Being merry causes us to get our focus off our problems, and keeps us wonderfully distracted.

A good reason to watch more funny movies instead of watching the news!
